CONFERENCE LANGUAGES
EWMA 2010 is a trilingual conference and the conference languages are English, French and German. All presentations and all conference material will be in both English, French and German, except for a few workshops and symposia.
CME
Credits for Continuing Medical Education (CME) will be awarded by the European Union of Medical Specialists. EWMA is usually awarded 6 CME credits per day, but the exact number of credits available for participation in the EWMA 2010 conference will be announced on this web site.

Location of the conference venue
Geneva Palexpo is located directly at the international airport in Geneva and only 6 minutes from the city centre by train and 10 minutes by car.
Public transport in Geneva
With effect from January 2008, you can pick up a free ticket for public transport from the machine in the baggage collection area at the Arrival level. This Unireso ticket, offered by Geneva International Airport, allows you to use public transport in Geneva free for a period of 80 minutes.
If you are staying at a hotel, a youth hostel or a campsite, the establishment will offer you the "Geneva Transport Card” that allows you to use all types of public transport in Geneva free of charge during your stay. Passport, visa and invitation letter
All travelers must have a valid passport. Since 2009 Switzerland is considered a Schengen country. Participants are advised to make their own arrangements with respect to entering Switzerland. Individuals requiring an official letter of invitation in order to obtain a visa, are kindly asked to send an email to the conference secretariat at ewma@ewma.org. Please note that official letters of invitation can only be given to individuals who have registered and paid the registration fee for the conference.
Certificates of attendance
Certificates of attendance will be available at the registration desk during the conference.
Photography
EWMA does not allow anyone to take photograps during sessions, except the official photographer of EWMA 2010.
Smoking policy
In accordance with the policy of EWMA, this is a non-smoking event.

COMMERCIAL EXHIBITION
All major suppliers in the wound care and wound management field will be exhibiting at the EWMA 2010 conference. The exhibition is open in the breaks between sessions.
